I was lucky enough to find the Lil Weeziana's food truck at Galveston Mardi Gras. The gumbo was delicious and clearly made with care, and the shrimp po boy truly hit the spot. A recent trip back to New Orleans spoiled me for Houston's po boys... nobody here seasons their shrimp! But I tell you, Lil Weeziana's were perfectly spiced! Even the fries were extra tasty. I'll be keeping an eye out for that truck to come to town because I've been thinking about that food for a hot minute now.
